“We are the Dreamers” Woven Wall Art

This handwoven wall art is part of a series of works based on a phrase that comes from a song I learned around a fire many years ago.

“We are the Weavers, We are the Woven Ones

We are the Dreamers and we are the Dream”

I have been envisioning making an encoded design from this phrase for many years and the result is a very special and one of a kind piece of sacred art.

Original handwoven encoded overshot design.  Hand dyed cotton yarn.   Mounted on a frame of varnished Costa Rican purpleheart wood.
